May 4 and the New AC! Treasure from the Cove

Happy Annual Catalog Launch Day!

I am so excited to share the new catalog with you.  So many beautiful products to use and create with and make something special for those you love.  Talk about #stampingwithahappyheart  I love it!

I recently played with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and the Pansy Patch Bundle to create fun cards and showcase the new in-colors.  I personally love the new in-colors with Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya being favorites (click here to enjoy bundled savings on all of the new in color inks).  I also love the Pansy Petals Bundle and Designer Series Paper.  If you are interested in the Pansies, order them soon.  I am sure they will be in high demand...don't let scarcity catch you off guard-LOL!

There are also fun promotions which launch with today's release of the new catalog:

JOIN+ STARTER KIT SPECIAL
A fantastic  Starter Kit special is being offered now through May 31st to help kick off of the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog! You can choose up to $155 worth of product ($30 more than usual) and pay just $99.   I just recently took advantage of the opportunity to join as well and love the idea of being either a hobbiest or a full demo.  No matter what, getting that discount is worth it.  Adding an extra $30 in free product is perfect.  Just do it!

CONNECT, CRAFT & COLLECT
May 4 through June 14 Stampin’ Up! is gifting an extra $25 in Stampin’ Rewards to all orders that reach the $250+ mark. This is the perfect perk for those who host parties or those who place large individual orders. Want to host a party?  Let me know...and we will get things rolling.

And finally,

BATTER UP!  Paper Pumpkin Baseball Jam!

Here's the Scoop

Today's inspiration comes from a love of ice cream and relationships.  One of the things my husband and I share is a love of ice cream.  Since we met, we've always enjoyed heading to the local ice cream places such as Franks, Stoddards, Handels and even Dairy Queen.

When I saw the Jan-June Mini-catalog has the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and coordinating punch, I knew I had to get it.  I also love the matching Designer Series Paper that goes with it.  So  I combined the love for ice cream with the love of my life and used the Old Olive paper and punched out the scoops on the card after I stamped the cones on the plain white paper.

I then added the finishing touch by punching out the coordinating hearts from the Heartfelt stamp set and added the sentiment.  I just love how the matching cone DSP coordinates with the cinnamon cider paper and ink.  I finished it off with a matching ribbon and bow.

I am happy with how the final version turned out.  I even love the detail in the stamp set with a drip mark.  That inspired me to add drip marks to the sentiment.  I am nuts about these scoops.  What do you think?

Let Hope be your Anchor

One of the things I love about the stampin up stamps is they are full of beautiful sentiments.  Of course I love nautical themed items and I when I saw this set, I knew I wanted to have it.  It's called Sailing Home.  It has anchors, ropes, boats and beautiful messages.

I used the corner fold technique, shared by Rachel Tessman for these cards.  I then thought about the messages I could share and use them to inspire or encourage the recipients.  I came up with a few designs with different colored cards stock and ink to create the images.

Here are the final product cards I came up with when I was done creating with this design.

So, as I set sail, in the direction of my dreams, I want to remind myself to "Let Hope Be My Anchor in the Storms of Life".
